Alte Liebe (Old Love) tells the story of Friedrich (76) and Luise (74) who have been happily married for over 40 years — until Luise is diagnosed with Alzheimer's. When Friedrich is no longer able to care for Luise on his own, he has no option but to admit her to a nursing home, where she surprisingly falls in love with another man. The film was shoot in the fall of 2007 under the guidance of Hans Geissendörfer and with the support of the Filmstiftung NRW. While Director Irene Graef was on the set in Bonn, Florian was simultaneously editing the fresh daylies of the movie in Cologne.
